Topic: Minor mod to Jobberbase - 'authorize applicants'
We have a simple install of jobberbase for our school to allow companies to post jobs freely intended for our students.
The applicants should only* be our students.
*but we are open to others applying if they are decent applicants.
Our problem is, we get garbage applicants from other countries that are
a) unqualified or
b) unemployable because of their immigration status or
c) just mindbogglingly stupid, applying for a job using SMS-type short notation.
This reduces the value of our service to the employers, and kills chances for our student as employers dont bother reposting...
I would like to add some sort of 'approval link' in an email the first time a job seeker makes an application. If I press 'approve' then all subsequent applications can be sent automatically. A bit like the job posting system
We dont charge a fee for this, so there is not a big budget for customization, but I would obviously be prepared to pay for this. Note: I have made numerous small tweaks to the code myself and do not want to install the latest version or stat again from scratch - so hopefully it should be just a question of modifying some of the php... not even templates - since there is no visible difference other than that I get an email before the job gets sent off.
PM or email me if you have an idea of how muchthis would set us back & how long it will take.
Thanks!
Alex
