Topic: The start page loads but clicking on other link doesn't work...Please

Dear All,
i am very much in interested in this jobberbox,and i downloaded this application...i have unzipped and uploaded the in my XAMMP folder as this "C:\xampp\htdocs\jobberbase\public" with all the files under it. i have even change the  config.envs.php as required.
when i load the page from the browser,the first home page loads up and on clicking to other page it says "Object not found!" then i have change the .htaccess in admin with addition of "RewriteBase /public/admin " and same .htaccess is copied to public folder and added "RewriteBase /public"
with this i can't browse the home page which i could see before.
i didn't where is the mistake.

when i click on the button for example "administration menu"
following url is shown " http://localhost/jobberbase/public/jobs/administrators/"
but i didn't see any folder name /Job/administrators/ inside the public folder ??
i am confused....Please any one help me how to resolve this issue,its is a nice application and i want to learn it.

Did you install the jobberBase database?

Dear Hobo,
i installed the jobber base database and configured the config.envs.php  as per my XAMPP set up.
but as i pointed out earlier...first page load perfectly and rest page doesn't.
Similarly, in the admin part i can load the login page and then enter admin user name and password and  could load the admin page successfully.but same thing,clicking on the menu doesn't work.i didn't know what is the issue...
i have uploaded the file in my XAMMP folder as this "C:\xampp\htdocs\jobberbase\public" with all the files under public folder.
when i load the page with this urls "http://localhost/jobberbase/public/" first page load successfully.
when i click on the Administration menu this urls appear "http://localhost/jobberbase/public/jobs/administrators/" and the page says Object not found!...
looking at the urls there are sub folder under Public,which i didn't see when i look inside the public folder,
Does that mean i missed some files while downloading ? if that the case..i have downloaded the jobberbase from different source file and the content is same.

Please help me with concrete solution and will be highly appreciated.

Please remove the public folder.
and copy all the contents frompublic folder to  jobberbase/ folder and access the site with http://localhost/jobberbase/

dont change any thing in .htacces file keep the original file

Still on it's way and almost there... Can't give you an exact date but will be in 2009 I think.
