Topic: Reponse to adverts and sending jobs to friend going to spam

I have just set up my site using 1.9 but have a problem.  Whenever someone sends a job to a friend with hotmail email account the email goes to the junk folder.  The same happens with job advert response when the contact uses a hotmail account and possibly some employers anti spam email software is filtering out ad response.  Really need to sort this out.  Just seems like a lot of emails from my site are getting filtered into junk. Some are fine though like the confirming a job posting email. Any help please!!

Thanks for that, it does explain why this is happening.  Do you know the changes that I need to make to the jobberbase code to stop this happening?  I'm not a programmer so have limited knowledge but am guessing I need to change the Page_apply php file and the page_sendtofriend php.  Any help you or anyone else can give in changing the code so that my domain would be the sender and the applicants email the reply to address would great.

Try searching for "setup spf Your Host Company Name" maybe they have forums or help pages to help you set it up.
