Re: Search engine and rss

Interesting question. Giving you one beautiful example:
www.indeed.com
https://ads.indeed.com/campaigns

They work on pay per click model getting jobs posted from all job sites. Frankly speaking job seekers still wish to apply on a single job site if it simply serve some purpose with some job postings. The so called mixing like indeed may be a confusion.

Thanks

Re: Search engine and rss

I used indeed backfill now and the only benefit I get is that if someone searches for a job in google there is a high probability that I will appear in the search results. Therefore, my site is more visible. But in terms of usability, I myself is annoyed that whenever I open jobs and I apply for it, I will be redirected 3 times all in all! So after I become more popular or get more user posts, I will stop the indeed backfill module. Just want to share my experience.

Re: Search engine and rss

Hi thanks for replying. When i created this post i was thinking about indeed.com | i'd like to create the same website. Can i use rss feeds from job website ? I'm just wondering how sites like indeed.com work. Do you think i really need to use ads to get jobs from other sites ? The ads from indeed are just to put the sites on the top of the page i guess and generate some money. But the first point is to generate traffic
