Re: Jobs Bulletin Philippines

Honest feedback, I like the general feel - the background in particular is nice. My only observation is that you focus way too much on the social networking elements and not enough on the bits the jobseeker is after, namely the job adverts. About 60% of the home page on a 1024 resolution without scrolling is taken up with social networking and chat. I'd suggest thinking about who your target audience is and ;put yourself ion their shoes when looking at the site.

Thank you so much.
I am completely aware about this and I am still thinking how to redo the design in the right time.
Since the website is 3-4 months, my main focus now is to get connection with people.
I am too lazy and too busy to think of a solution other than using facebook and twitter as a way of fetching visitors and link up with them so they won't forget my website.

Any suggestions on how to promote my website? And the content layout?
I have no experience on this area and I really really appreciate feedbacks and comments.

Re: Jobs Bulletin Philippines

Hi Guys,

I have been denied 3 times by Google Adsense. (I know this is off topic but....)

They said:
Unacceptable site content: Your website contains content that we do not
allow at this time. Please review our policies
(https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US) for a complete list
of site content not allowed on web pages.

Can you guys tell me what is wrong with my site?
Yeah I already read the Guidelines but I can't figure out the problem.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Jobs Bulletin Philippines

Try adding the privacy policy and removing donations button. You could also place some content in the big empty rectangle in the page header, since they do not accept unfinished sites.
Nice design.
All these are just guesses, it could be something else.

Re: Jobs Bulletin Philippines

You might want to look into your web host, right now your website is not active, I clicked the link available in  your signature, and landed on a ixwebhosting page.

As far as website promotion,

Getting features is a great start.

Create more content, include more companies and develop a customzed SEO Strategy for you.

Write HR Related Articles abou jobs in the philippines and submit them to Blogs.
Join other job related forums and participate in advice in the philippines.

If you are doing it yourself, I'd suggest reading up on some SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies.

If you have a small marketing budget for SEO, I'm sure you could find some vendors to assist you.

I'll check your site later.  But I would suggest that availability is also critical, most visitors won't come back, if they don't see a job portal on their first visit.

Break a Leg!

Thanks but I recently moved to ixwebhosting and still waiting for the propagation to end. I have problems with my previous hosting so I decided to migrate immediately.

Will sure wait for you comments and suggestions!
Thanks in advance...
