Were you able to figure something out? Our developers are working on the functionality, and it should be tested an operational within two weeks, I'll let you know then, perhaps our team can help you out, or please let me know if you found some shortcuts.

Can you be a bit more specific, for example about which payment option you want to use? A quick and dirty option is to get a 3rd party payment site (say PayPal) and edit the last page of the job posting section (publish-confirmation.tpl) to take the customer to the payments screen in PayPal. You could also edit the code so that job is not posted until you receive payment (Redjumpsuit did something on his on his site) - only downside is you have to approve all job posts.
