Topic: How To Change Jobberbase Default Wordings

I hope this is helpful to someone.

Is anyone out there wondering how to change the default wordings?  Or perhaps translate them to another language?

For example, I wanted to change the text of the emails sent by jobberbase to companies that place ads on my site.

Someone else may want to change the default
(e.g. "ajax", "designer, london", "php, chicago")
that comes with jobberbase on the home page

If you want to change all these, and more, find and edit: /_includes/translations.ini
(A file named translations.ini in the "_includes" folder)

Re: How To Change Jobberbase Default Wordings

Hi there. I changed all the wordings in the translation.ini file above, and I still can't find some of the stuff. for example the word >>Apply now from the job page. Or the Post a job text in the footer. Any idea where I can locate those ? Thanks beforehand.

it's on the job-details.tpl file, just search for the word. if it's not on the INI file, then it should just be in the tpl files

Hi there and thanks a lot. What about the links in the header and footer (such as "site widget" and stuff)

Links are dynamic and saved in the database. You can adjust them at 'links' in the admin panel, assuming you have JB 1.8. For older versions those links are simply within the header.tpl and footer.tpl.
