Long Awaited Jobberbase 1.8 is out.

It contains a significant number of improvements and new features since the last release. Here are some of them:

1. Ability to change all settings from Admin Panel instead of config.php
2. Improved and Paginated Search
3. Editable Job-Url Structure
4. Recaptcha Support
5. Database Prefix Support
6. Dynamic Menus in Header and Footer
7. Multiple Theme Support
8. City Cloud Page
9. SMTP Mail Support

There are numerous enhancements and bug fixes too. To read them in detail, head to Changelog.

Installation is pretty easy and requires few edits. Read the Installation Guide.

For 1.7 Users
There are lot of theme changes which you will need to implement if you are upgrading from 1.7 to 1.8.
Visit the SVN for them.

A Guide to Upgrade from 1.7 to 1.8 has been released by Cosmin.

Note: To Support Multiple Theme Support, default theme has been moved to '_templates/default/' directory and each new theme should be moved to its own directory under '_templates' folder and the current theme can be selected from the Admin panel.
