I have made my site [url]http://www.trabajoencostarica.com/[/url] social (Email suscriptions, Feedburner RSS, Twitter, Facebook etc.).
Putting buttons for twitter and facebook on POSTS so people can re-tweet them or share them in facebook have pumped my site visits pretty much, also the buttons on my front page for email and RSS suscriptions have worked for me pretty much..I have a pretty decent email list of people expecting my posts now. So check them out..and let me know what you think.

The Pro version seems nice..I like it...very usefull indead... but in my case Filip it´s too expensive... I was hoping that when the pro version came out it was going to be more accesible.

You all got to be kidding me..the original post started with a valid request which is in interest for all of us and ended up in a lot of BS and multiple replies about what you all think is the right thing to do.....are you serious?.....why not stick to the subject and whoever knows how to do this be so kind to post it and that's it!.

Hey, I just upgraded my site http://www.trabajoencostarica.com to the lastest version of Jobberbase 1.6 and everything seems to be working just fine, but the delete button in the admin area is not. It simply does not do anything.
I have tried all the tweaks and tricks on previous posts but nothing seems to work for me, I also tried deleting the "$db->autocommit(FALSE);" line that seemed to work for others...and nothing!!!!
Seriously HELP!

Seems to be true, I recommended the application to a friend, and he replied saying he did not recieve an email with a link, and he tried several times to register and nothing happened.

Fair enough, I tought it was programmed some how and backend managed but html is ok for now I guess, thanks for the replies, if anybody comes up with a backend or more dinamic solution for this, please post.

I´ve been using Godaddy for years now, and is my favorite, never had a single problem. I actually have a copy of jobbebrbase installed on my test domain hosted at godaddy: www.diwe.net/servicios to test the application before putting it live on its right domain.

Definitely I RECOMMEND everybody who wants to try this to make a backup of your files before going through with it, there are too many files to be changed to take the chance of not getting one error.

I have tried this code, looks nice and all but it does not validate, even if you don´t check any of the checkboxes the form will still advance to the next page without stoping you at all and that´s not the point I think.

The characters displayed inside forms look wierd, like a different encoding and I have tested this error in different computers and I have seen it in all jobberbase sites published here, including the error of not showing "step 2: verify ad" submit botton letters and this only happens in firefox as I mentioned, not in IE6 or IE7.

You have to locate this portion of the code (usually located in line 421 but it can be different):

Yeah, I tried that thinking it was that simple copy /paste code from one place to the other, but for some reason it only shows the cloud in the sidebar as I want it, but in the "companies" page only not in the home page or other pages. I must be missing something...
Anybody can help?

That section automatically appears after someone applies to one of the jobs offered in your jobboard, do your own test, apply to one of your test jobs and you´ll see it when you refresh your home page.

I had the same issue on my spanish translation for my test site www.diwe.net/servicios/
What you should do is: replace the letter you need with its hmtl charatacter code equivalent.
For example if I needed to say "years" in spanish I have to write "Años", but the current encoding won´t let me us "ñ" directly, so in order for me to put this letter right and not with a regular "n" which will give me a whole different word "anos" which means "anus" by the way...I had to write it like this ( años ) or ( años ) which will convert the letter to show up right.

Just replace letters with the whole character code....easy stuff.
