Jobberbase v1.9 is very close to release....feature freezed. So ur suggestions may not be in v1.9...but will be considered for v2.0 and future releases. Thnx..keep them coming. :)
Moving the post to tutorials section.
Latest update: v1.9 will also run on IIS
Wow..that's a excellent update.
I hope there will be an Upgrade Guide from 1.8 to 1.9 available as soon as possible
Surely...the guide will be available well in time before 1.9 releases. We earlier predicted 1.9 to be a minor update but it seems it will again be a big update with some pretty neat feature set and improvements. Kudos to our dev team - putypuruty, chronos, links, evert, radulucaciu and filip who had major contributions for the upcoming v1.9.
Also one more suggestion...pls don't use any image from frontend or default admin theme.....make the cadify theme directory self-dependent. I am suggesting this because I am working on enabling multiple admin theme support so that we can switch from one admin theme to other easily.
Seems you have styled the Spotlight and regular jobs as the same with just a big gap in between. Spotlight jobs should have a different unique style.
Also please make some new images for Job types since I see u r just using the same images used in default theme.
Hey I have a suggestion...it seems you clear orders manually. Atleast let people download the free items instantly.
Just for notification here...evert has released Jobberbased for v1.7, v1.8 and v1.9(SVN). Check out at http://evertsemeijn.nl/2010/01/release-jobberbased-template/

Seems you added it. Great work Evert.
Well the simplest method I can think of is to create a new thread where news of all latest and upcoming JB versions will be posted with a short changelong? And then u can subscribe to that thread via email.
Seems 10 days have passed. :P
Here's wishing Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2010 to all jobberBase Readers and job site developers.

Did u tried reading the Installation Guide from the Wiki? http://www.jobberbase.com/wiki/
Please turn on error reporting as mentioned at http://www.jobberbase.com/wiki/index.php/Installation_Guide and then report back the error.
Installation guide is already at http://www.jobberbase.com/wiki/index.php/Installation_Guide
jobberBase has a section on front page where jobs can be featured i.e. they are highlighted and displayed above the other jobs regardless of when they were posted.
Some job boards use this feature and charge employers for getting their jobs featured.
