I went on google to take a look about this CV parsing functionality but i didn't find anything really useful to understand what it is :s . Are you talking about the iprofile format ? Tell me more about it, and i will try to integrate it to the opencv !
I found this format, that i think is really good to, (microformat of course 
), the hResume: http://microformats.org/wiki/hresume . It will be availible in the first release if i can, if not, in the next!

Possibility for companys to browse CVs, search for people… a browse by picture option would be preety cool for my personal use too
For the friends and messages features, it will be a part of the next release... I worked on the road map, and i think that i have to work first on the core of the program. So friends, messages, groups, wall are planned to be a feature.
I'm going to add a rank system later to let company rank the people the hired (and of course people rank the company).
For the picture option, i want to make this program as light as a can, so i think about an add-on for flickr. Like that, you will be able to display yours photos on your flickr account, selected by tag or group or anything else.
