Hello,

I have come across several examples of jobberBase in action:

Yes, check www.darbadiena.lv - it is still job board, but it`s really cool designed (changed some positions, added number of jobs published and number of applications sent and so on).

That's my new site, I haven't gotten around to customising everything about the look yet, but you can see where it's going. This has been up for about a week and has already had a few posts so I'm pretty happy with it.

Any tips on improving my site?

I like the chicken...cool little dude. One suggestion I could make would be to brand the site with the chicken's image, colors and style. For example, a feather coding system... colored feather icons next to the position.
Green feather = full-time position,
Yellow feather = part-time
Blue feather = a contract.

Nice originality with the chicken...

Cheers thanks TokyoJ, I'll have a more thorough go at customising the design today. While I'm not very good with PHP/CSS I can edit photo's so I'll try drawing a feather, and maybe add in a few more little things so that it looks less generic. As you can probably notice I borrowed the theme from a kind gentleman offering a free theme (and simply added a picture of a chicken that I've drawn)… it's great what you can get for free these days I think!

BTW - are you living in Tokyo? I live in Japan… Fukui prefecture (near Kyoto, Osaka and Nagoya).

Nice, which part of Tokyo s Setagaya-ku from? I lived in Arakawa-ku (near Asakusa and Ueno) for about 4 months. How's the weather in Tokyo? Fukui's really cold, but it's starting to get warm and beautiful, I can feel spring.

I'm just taking it easy really… I'm working and saving money so that I can be a full-time student over here next year, studying Japanese. I'm only an intermediate right now, and my reading/writing smells… I'd really like to master the language. Oh and I'm originally from Australia (Sydney).

What are you up to over in Setagaya?
