the main page http://74.220.207.182/~planets1/jobberbase/ looks good, but when i click on any of the category http://74.220.207.182/~planets1/jobberbase/jobs/HR/ I get page not found error.
I believe /jobs/HR/ path gets created on the fly and I like to know where to look for in the code where it generates this link.
I made sure /uploads and /_templates/cache is set to 0777. Does webpage name http://74.220.207.182/~planets1/ make any difference instead of like a real name www.planetsap.com. I am in the process of changing the DNS server name, so before it happens, I wanted to test and make sure all the links work, but no luck so far.
Can somebody provide me with some suggestions. I also noticed others have link problems too, did folks who had this issue resolved it or you guys gave up.
I think this is a great product and i hope i will be able to implement it. Apologize for my ignorance with PHP. So any help will be greatly appreciated.
George, from what Ive read on the forum, this is almost always a problem with the, htaccess file (have you tried the alternative config in htaccess?) or in my case, my httpd.conf file was not allowing htaccess overrides.
Can you please elaborate on alternative config in htaccess. The webhosting company refuses to modify httpd.conf, so no clue on how to proceed with this issue. Any more suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
Folks that developed this product, whenever you get some time, can you please take a look at Vanilla installation process, and whenever time permits, please try to replicate the installation process like they have. This is just a suggestion in a good way. So folks like me who are non-PHP guys, can install the product and use it instantly.
