I’m also subscribed to John Resig’s blog, so when he asked readers how to best manage all the JavaScript jobs that are channelled through him, I, of course, suggested jobberBase.

Two days later, to my astonishment, I found out that he did:
JavaScript Ninja Jobs — an extension to John’s upcomming booksite, Secret of the JavaScript Ninja.

Guys, you’re doing an awesome work with your jobberBase sites and I was amazed to see so much activity going on in the forum!
I love to see some of you — who have mastered the application — helping others start out. It’s great!!

So I just want to say THANK YOU all, for your support and involvement.

I plan to catch up with the active issues on the forum, but I’m going through some tough weeks (it’s all good) and my time is extremely limited. I’m always available via e-mail (filipcte [at] gmail.com), though :) .

Soon, we’ll release the final 1.4 version, with bug fixes and, hopefully, some small additions :) . In the meanwhile, you can get it from the repository.

Here are a few items that could be improved (list under-construction):

  1. Create an admin panel to manage all job posts.
  2. Rewrite the classes that generate RSS feeds. Current implementation is an old legacy and it looks terrible (start from class.Feed.php).
  3. Fix IE bugs (JavaScript, mostly).
  4. Implement a multi-language system, with all the strings in language files.
  5. Other?
