1.7 + site refresh + jobberBase Pro
Indeed, a new version is out, thanks to all of those who made it happen!
In the name of the jobberBase dev team, I’d like to thank every person who got involved in our community and helped others get things done. We truly appreciate your effort.
You probably noticed the refreshed UI on jobberbase.com. We’ve began to list some jobberBase-powered sites and hope to see that list grow. If you have a jobberBase site that isn’t listed there, give us an email at hello [at] jobberbase [dot] com.
One more thing… we’re preparing a Pro/Premium version of jobberBase, with employer admin, resume management and paypal payment integration and plan to sell it at an affordable price.
We’ll continue to develop both the open-source and pro versions, while trying to figure out how to bring the most value to the world.
It’s been a great ride until now, and it’s only getting better!

See http://jobberbase.googlecode.com/svn-history/r133/trunk/changelog.txt for the changelog.
See http://www.jobberbase.com/forum/topic1446-jb-17-what-are-the-differences-from-jb-16.html for instructions to upgrade from 1.6 to 1.7
first of all thanks alot for your efforts ..
secondly i was startingh to do enhancements to jobberbase , but you already planned to do so in jobber pro … so we are looking forward to see your next release
dont forget to notify us ….
thanks again

Hello,
Do you know when Jobberbase Pro will be released?
Thanks
Max 2 weeks.
thank you for the answer
Any idea what the pricing will be yet? I saw on the Twitter feed that you’re trying to figure it out.
probably $199
Looking forward to seeing what’s included!
That’s a good move for JB… You really focused on what JB-powered site owners are looking to. I planned myself on enhancing it, but you did exactly what I was going to…
I wish a few things for the Pro version :
- multi-licence contract (i plan on running more and more niched JBs sites, and I think I’m not alone in this case)
- ability to send a mail to all recruiters, and on the other side all the job seekers (not the most important feature, but can be very handy and easy to implement).
And I have a question about the business model induced by the pro version : is it a monthly (~ time based) subscription, or a XX prepaid ads (like credits) way ?
Strange I’m subscribed to newsletter but only now casualy I read this nice new, best greetins to all people helping jobberbase community!
